We had a little get-together for July 4th and quite frankly, we didn’t want to do dishes. BK picked up a pack of those supposedly compostable paper plates.
I cracked up when he brought them home and noticed a little “gluten-free” tag on the label. I’m still scratching my head over how a paper plate could not be gluten-free, but hey, I’m happy they are. 
My guess would be there is a concern that the glue used on the plates’ edges or the coatings to make them spill proof may come from gluten sources.
