As previously mentioned, I’ve gotten a ton of lemons recently from the trees at my friend’s new house. I love throwing lemon in my water, using it to dress salad greens with a little olive oil and sea salt, and much more. Citrus is a staple of my kitchen. Though I’ve got no shortage of usages for the yellow fruits, I kind of want to try making this candied lemon peel. Yum! My friend’s tree isn’t a Meyer lemon tree, sadly, or I’d be going hogwild with lemon curd recipes right now….
Speaking of lemons, look at this crazy deformed fruit I picked last week. Isn’t it strangely cute?
