The past few weeks have been a total whirlwind of graduation, a quick trip back home, a quick trip to NYC for a job interview, and then a nearly two-week vacation. I’m still reeling from all of it as I relax here in Albany at my mom and stepfather’s home with three dogs while I frantically search for jobs. I’m still catching up and sorting through all of my photos and thoughts. I am trying to get back on the blogging bandwagon though, so here’s a quickie post. While in a tapas place in Barcelona, I was tickled to see their cocktail menu.
Yes, that’s right, it’s a cocktail called “No gluten, no cry.” Obviously I had to order it, along with some manchego and quince paste for dessert.
Here is the no-gluten-no-cry cocktail. It was pomegranate-y and tasty, but too sweet for my tastes. It’s not something I’d want to regularly drink but clearly I was sold on the name.
