Things to love: The outdoor patio at Moody’s Pub in Edgewater

Moody’s Pub is yet another one of the places I’d passed a hundred times without going in. I’ve long admired their large, fenced-in outdoor patio but the weather hasn’t exactly been patio-friendly until very, very recently.

This is a summer spot for sure. Large, comfortable patio and simple menu of burgers, sandwiches and drinks. The beer list isn’t very long, and neither is the wine list, but I kind of appreciate the simplicity.  Moody’s is comfy. It’s a place that really makes me want to get a few friends together for a relaxing summer evening on the patio with burgers and pitchers.

It was the perfect spot to do a little reading one Sunday afternoon and enjoy a tall gin and tonic.
