Can a gluten-free diet improve your serve?

Today’s Wall Street Journal¬†has a fascinating piece about tennis star Novak Djokovic. Apparently the athlete has risen to greatness after discovering his body couldn’t process gluten and going on a gluten-free diet. The piece looks at whether there’s a connection between his abstaining from bread/beer/etc and his sudden storming of the tennis arena, rising to victories over greats like Roger Federer.

I’m obviously pretty fascinated by this. I’m including a screen shot but here’s the link to the full article.

¬†Also, here is a shot of my favorite picture from the article. It’s a graphic illustration of Djokovic and Federer dressed up as gluten-free steaks. Seriously. I couldn’t make this stuff up if I tried.
