sesame balls

I was so excited to find these sesame rice balls the other day while in the Argyle section of the uptown neighborhood. They were under $2 at Tai Nam Food Market.¬†¬†They’re made with no gluten ingredients, and to me, they almost taste a little like donuts or fritters. Yum. I ended up eating the whole package of 4 before I even got home from the store. I barely even had time to snap a photo before I’d devoured them. I blame my grumbling stomach for the extra crappy shot.

I might try making them myself sometime. This recipe looks pretty easy and I like the blogger’s inclusion of red bean paste.

I have no idea what these are actually called. Maybe my buddy Albany Jane knows?
