My delightful friend Laura hosted a gluten-free pizza night for myself, one of my roommates, B, and her co-worker and his wife, a fellow celiac. I suggested we have two separate kinds of pizza but no one else was having that. And who was I to argue? We made two pies using the Namaste pizza crust mix and one using a buckwheat combo that Laura rigged up.
The results? We went for a modified Caprese pizza with artichoke hearts, a meat lover’s with mushrooms and one more, which stuck to the pan because I forgot to put cornstarch on it first. Ooops.
